WWW2008, a pity
written by Sergio Fernández at 23h22
This week Beijing (China) hosts the WWW2008 Conference, probably the most important conference about the Web. It’s a pity not to be there, because there are many interesting things:
- Today John, Uldis and Alex presented a tutorial about SIOC.
- Tomorrow Josema will present our paper (Bootstrapping the Semantic Web of Social Online Communities) in the Workshop on SWSM2008.
- The LDOW2008 Workshop will be also quite interesting, with many friends presenting their work on the Linked Data initiative. Moreover a paper of Okkam project echoes of my experiments (last paragraph of section seven), something that is a pride for my work.
- An obviously the program of the main conference, with many interesting talks.
Well, next year is closer, so we’ll try to be there.
